Lunch with Senegalese Filmmaker Mamadou Dia

Join us for lunch with Senegalese filmaker and director Mamadou Dia on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 1 - 2 PM!  We will have pizza and drinks in room 109 Bailey.  

Dia is based in New York, where he completed his Masters in Fine Arts at the Tisch School of the Arts, (NYU) in 2017. His works are shaped and influenced by his experience working as a video-journalist for over eight years in Africa. He balances fiction and fact, and narrative and documentary. Samedi Cinema, his latest work, was premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.
